Dr. B.R.Shetty has been honored with the first ever ‘Swiss Ambassador’s Award of 2008’ in recognition of his special and longstanding efforts in the promotion of the relations between Switzerland and the UAE.

 

The Swiss Ambassador’s Award has been instituted by H E Wolfgang Amadeus Bruelhart, Ambassador of Switzerland. The Award recognizes notable efforts of personalities who have shown special long term commitments and efforts in the promotion of the relations between Switzerland and UAE and has been a special friend of Switzerland. The Award sculpture combines elements of Switzerland and United Arab Emirates.

 

The Award was conferred to Dr. B.R.Shetty on 23 April 2008 in Hiltonia Gardens, Abu Dhabi, at the Swiss Spring Festival organized by the Swiss Embassy and the Swiss Business Council in Abu Dhabi.
