Preparing for the new addition to your family should be an enjoyable time for expectant parents and to make this happen NMC Healthcare is proud to introduce MAMA CARE – a maternity care educational programme for expectant and new mothers at NMC Specialty hospital Abu Dhabi. This programme is currently running successfully at NMC Specialty Hospital, Dubai and is being introduced for the first time in the emirate of Abu Dhabi.
New mothers in their first to third trimesters can register for prenatal and postnatal advice from expert medical professionals including Nurses, Dietician and Exercise Physiologist, providing support and confidence during the pregnancy, delivery and post-delivery.
These antenatal classes will cover an array of topics for mums and dads to be, ensuring they are prepared for the birth of their child. Expectant parents will learn about the growth of the baby, changes experiences by the expectant mother, appropriate diet and exercise, important roles and contributions of the husband during the pregnancy, the labour process, how to care for a newborn baby, and support after discharge from the hospital.
