NMC Healthcare is a Founder Patron of this Foundation for the past several years.Soorya Stage & Film Society, Kerala, IndiaSoorya is recognized as the largest cultural organization in Asia (as listed in the Limca Book of World Records)with Chapters in London, Austria, Italy, Switzerland,Germany in Europe and in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore and Malaysia. Dedicated to promoting genuine Indian culture,Soorya hosts an annual 75 day festival every year.Dr. B. R. Shetty and the Chief Minister of Kerala, India are the two Patrons of Soorya.

Support to Sporting Initiatives NMC Healthcare is an ardent supporter of sporting activities in this region, extending patronage to both individual and team games, which has paid rich dividends in raising the sporting standards in the UAE.Testimonials to NMC Healthcare’s commitment is the staging of two Gulf-level events - the Koosamma Shetty Throw Ball Tournament and the Ramadan Floodlit Volleyball Tournament, which are popular fixtures in the annual calendar of events.The most outstanding contribution to sports has been the promotion of cricket, which is gaining rapid popularity among the citizens, both nationals and expatriates. NMC sponsors a premier 'A' Division cricket tournament under the aegis of the Abu Dhabi Cricket Council, fielding two teams in the fray - the NMC team and the UAE Exchange team.Dr. B. R. Shetty's most outstanding contribution however to UAE Cricket has been the setting up world-class, flood lit Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi during his tenure as the Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Cricket Council. The stadium has been the venue for international cricket matches like the two one day internationals between India and Pakistan.
