First Aid Course
One of the most under-rated forms of medical help, First Aid Training has however, gathered importance in the context of the emphasis that corporate bodies are placing on Health, Safety and Environment. At NMC Hospital, regular training under the expert training and supervision of a specialized doctor is imparted to select groups from companies and corporate bodies - both in the hospital premises and at offshore/onshore locations. The First Aid Training course covers a wide range of topics and with the support of visual aids and live demonstrations, helps put across varied techniques and methods of First Aid. At the end of the course, Certificates are awarded to successful candidates.

The training programmes are custom-made taking into account the occupational hazards faced in a particular area of work. Modern teaching aids such as dynamic resuscitation dummies, audio visual aids and manuals for permanent memory retention are employed. The training also provides adequate hands-on experience to give the trainee the confidence and expertise required to face a real-life situation. Specialists work together with the trainee to devise a programme curriculum that best address the hazards faced in their specific area of work.

The service is available on a 'retainer' or 'per-call' basis. Ambulance services are available in Sharjah during working hours.

Our fleet of ambulances is always ready and fully equipped to attend emergency cases.

A stand-by service available at any time of the day or night makes speedy evacuation of patients possible in dire emergency cases. This service is especially useful for accident cases in difficult-to-reach places such as offshore and desert locations. We render this service on a Retainer basis.

We have an agreement with Abu Dhabi Helicopters to employ a helicopter at any time of the day or night.

Labour Medical Certificates
NMC is authorized to issue Labour Medical Certificates for visa stamping and renewal of residence visas for foodhandlers and non-foodhandlers. All the medical tests are done at our hospital premises and the certificates are issued within 24 hours.
