Neurology
The Department of Neurology offers treatment for various neurological problems such as
headache, seizure disorders, movement disorders, neck and low backache, peripheral nerve
and muscle dysfunctions. The Department has facilities to
carry out investigative procedures such as CT scan, MRI, MRA and neuro
electrophysiological studies necessary for diagnostic evaluation of most neurological
disorders.
The hospital laboratory
carries out routine investigations; specialized tests including muscle and nerve biopsies,
drug assays, and molecular genetic studies are processed at our reference laboratory,
Laboratorie Marcel Merieux in France.
The Intensive Care Unit is
equipped with sophisticated monitoring facilities including EEG systems to monitor acute
stroke.

· Neuropathies: Metabolic, Traumatic, Compressive, Infective
· Seizure disorders in childhood, adults and chronic epilepsies

· Movement disorders, Involuntary Movements
· Dementia
· Cerebrovascular disorders, transient ischemic attacks, stroke in evolution.
